Came to Habanos on a busy Saturday and it’s definitely the happening place, be sure to pre order or place an uber eats pickup order if you are boating or in a rush. They had all the benches outside full and all the bistros sets along the creek full with people eating lunch. I took my blackened chicken Philly to go! That sauce is amazing
Just a quick review. I have not had time yet to eat their food. But what I noticed about this restaurant and the marina that surrounds it is its a first class operation. Some places in South Florida are kind of kitchey? Basically a semi redneck operation. I will update this review once I actually have a chance to eat their food.
They say good things come in small packages. Well, this is true about this "little" hall in the wall restaurant spot. But it's the authentic Cuban food with giant taste that will have you convinced you came to the right place. Their fish and chips portion are double in size, in comparison to anywhere in the area. The flavor of their dishes will have your planning your return visit before you leave this place. Then there's the server, a young fellow named Frank that's curtios and on top of his game. I can go on and on, but you owe to yourself to pay this plane a visit.
Delicious food right on the water. I had the blackened chicken philly- loads of chicken and great flavor. We got a basket of cracked conch for an appetizer, perfectly breaded and very tender, again large portion! The owners are super kind and food was ready for our party of 6 adults very fast. We will be back!
Really great small place on the water. At first glance you feel like this is not going to be great being it is a small shack with limited seating but the food was very good and had a very authentic taste. Had the vegetable burrito - contained broccoli cauliflower plantains potatoes rice and salsa. Very good. The side of sweet plantains was really good as well!
Maybe the perfect little restaurant for a cook your catch!!! every single person there was so kind and so helpful! I talked with four different employees and they were all gracious and super accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked quickly. The ambience outside at a table was the perfect into a long day. All I can say is, if you catch fish, bring it here and have them cook it. You’ll not regret it!
Very fun and delicious food. Great service! Huge portions of food We sat on a picnic table. They have chairs for the ends if you need to sit in a chair. Parking was a bugger when we went. If you drive all the way there and don't find a spot, you may need to drive in reverse to get out. We found a turnaround spot, but just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, food was very good and massive portions!! Shade overhead was great.
Right on the water. Very friendly staff and delicious food. It tempted us when we returned from a wonderful five trip with Conch Repyblic Divers, which share the dock.
